Erin Williams, received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from The Graduate Center-City University of New York. While attending graduate school, Erin became interested in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and was intensively trained in DBT by Behavioral Tech, LLC in 2010. Since that time, Erin has participated in research that examined the usefulness of DBT among different populations, in addition to utilizing DBT in her daily clinical work as a mental health clinician. Since 2012, Erin has been a faculty member at The Center for Study of Anorexia and Bulimia (CSAB), teaching DBT for Eating Disorders to candidates in the two-year training program in the Integrated Treatment of Eating Disorders. Erin enthusiastically joined Aurora Behavioral Health in 2016 as the supervisor of a DBT group and in 2017 began leading a weekly DBT group for Binge Eating and Bulimia.

Currently, Erin is a full-time Clinical Supervisor at Rikers Island, working with patients with serious mental illness. Erin is an adjunct professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, teaching at both the masters and undergraduate level.
