Aurora Center NYC is a private pay facility which means we do not contract with insurance companies who dictate the terms of treatment so that we can support our clients by providing eating disorder treatment options that are flexible, customized and responsive to an individuals needs — not the needs of an insurance company.

At Aurora Center NYC, fees for treatment services are clear and transparent with no hidden fees or add-on costs. Clients pay us directly for all treatment services rendered, however many of our clients have found that treatment at our New York City eating disorder clinic is often reimbursable by most insurance companies as an out-of-network provider. We offer support and advocacy around insurance reimbursement to ensure that you are able to utilize your benefits to the fullest extent possible, however it is the responsibility of the individual patient and family to pay for all services received.
